Elenna Usher

Hi, I'm Elenna; a born and raised Kentucky girl who is pursuing her lifelong passion of being a performer. I was put into theatre and dance at a very young age (thanks to my mother needing an outlet for my endless energy). I fell in love with it immediately, and it's been the center of my world ever since. 

As an artist, I am passionate about inspiring my audiences. Whether it's providing a nice escape from daily life, or providing a new perspective; I am proud to be a part of an art form that opens minds and educates new ways of looking at the world. I also believe that theatre is a powerful tool for building empathy in our society and helps us uplift one another. I can never know how someone enters the theatre but I hope they leave with a smile, feeling a bit lighter than when they came in.

I recently graduated the Hartt School with my BFA in Music Theater. Currently, I am performing in Arthur and Friends Make a Musical at Derby Dinner Playhouse, more information on that below! When I'm not on stage, you can find me in any local bookstore or record shop. I love to read, and currently, my favorite book is: "If We Were Villains" by M. L. Rio.
